Q:  Can I control the size of images uploaded?
A:  Yes - there is a module wide setting that controls the maximum width (in pixels) of any image on the site.

Any images uploaded that are wider than that are automatically resized to that width.

Images are dynamically resized to fit the space that they are being displayed in to save on bandwidth.
