I thought I posted this many days ago but I don't see it. Either it is in moderation still or I was dreaming. But I need an answer pretty quick.

When I added a new DNN profile field it did show up in the AP Setup with a checkbox to make it available, but it is not showing up at the person's profile level.

Has this been corrected in version 1.5? If not hopefully it will get done as it is a showstopper for my client.

Hi Cliff,

I have reread your other post and tried it myself as well. I added a list (dropdown) to the fields and made it visible. After making sure it was ticked in the DNN Integration section, to have it shown up on the users profile, it was not visible.

However, this is not incorrect behavior since the user is currently making the final decision on whether to show info from his/her profile. When editing their profile in the Active Profle module they still can decide not to show it, even when you make it mandatory in the DNN profile.

I hope this helps.
Regards,
Marc

I am still at a loss. I have logged in using the account that my AP is on. I went into DNN just to ensure that I had set the new field to be visible by Registered Members.

When I go to Edit under my AP main profile module, the new field is not there. So I cannot check it to allow it to be visible. I can see if if I log in as Admin and go to the main AP Settings, but not at the AP user level.

In the short term, this is not an issue right now as my client has decided that they want a separate page for each UserType, which is my new field.

I am hoping that I can put a new instance of AP on these 4 pages and it will keep the profiles separate. This sounds a little odd, but what they really want is a way to display info to visitors, and not an actual SN site for the Users. But this is a great module to add some niceties and allow them to update their CVs, publishings, etc.
