Now that we have support for DNNFusions MyProfile (ActiveProfile) and it looks like there is going to be a future for it we decided to load it up and tart playing with it on out Development server.

The problem we have is during the configuration of a Default Profile Template one of the admins was logged in as Host. Now when we try to go in and delete that Default Template the host account does not have the authority to delete it!

How do we remove the default template as admin when the template was created by the Host?

If you log in as host you can't delete it? I can't reproduce this problem on Active Profile 1.4. What version are you running?

Try this:

1) Go in as admin (not host) create a new profile and set this new profile as the [new] default.

2) Make sure that the users have abilities to delete profiles.

3) Now attempt to delete profile.

Hope this works...

Thanks,

Michael

No when I log in as Host I see the profile but there is now link on the control panel header to "Delete" the profile. We are running MyProfile 1.4.

Since this was our Development server we just wiped it clean with our base image and reloaded everything to get around this issue. It would never let us delete the profile for the Host or delete the default template.

Sorry, if we see it happen again we won't be so quick to step back and start over!
