Hello - I recently purchased Active Profile from your company and need to know how to add tabs with questions to the profile pages. Currently there are 3 default tabs (Personal, Contact, Address). I need to know how to add more tabs to this list and be able to add 5 questions per tab. It was my understanding that I would be able to do this with this product. This is the last module configuration that we need prior to launching our site and I would greatly appreciate your help with this issue. I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Are you talking about the profile details from the Core DNN or from AP itself?

Jes,

I don't know if there is anything you can do with the settings of the Active Profile itself.

When using the DNN profile you do have the ability to add fields and define on which tab they have to show up. This is arranged as a admin user in the Manage Profile Settings which can be found on the User Accounts tab.

Good luck.

Marc

Marc - Thanks for the response. I did try adding tabs (Cateogies) and questions (Property Names) via the DNN "Manage Properties Settings", but I am not sure if I am missing something, but I can't seem to get them to appear in the user profiles. I am logging in as site Admin and reviewing my steps carefully. I am also assuring that the new categories and questions are visible and some even required.

Any thoughts or additional info or help would be greatly appreciated. I've also considered using Dynamic Registration as I've heard good things about this module.

Thanks again,

Jes

Jes,

I don't have any experience with the Dynamic Registration so I can't help you on that one.

In order to make the added fields appear in the profile module you should check the DNN integration settings in the Active Profile module. Make sure that the added fields are selected.

Good luck.
Regards,
Marc
