Hi,
I bought Active Profile.
No problem during installation.
But when I change on the module I have a mistake.
The problem can be solved if I turn off my firewall.
The firewall software is
Outpost Pro version: 6.0.2279.251.0482.

Another problem is the module Seemyprofile that generates an error.

Please help me.

Thanks a lot,
Antonio

Antonio,
Is this the firewall on your local install? If so, then I imagine the firewall software also has content filtering or something that is preventing the application from running properly. Please post the actual errors so that we can look into this further.

Thanks,
Will

Hi Will,

the error is:
Error: Your Profile Settings is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DNNFusion.DNN.Modules.MyProfile.UserProfileSettings.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

The problem is solved.
I attach two images to solving the problem.

Thanks a lot,
Antonio

Those kind of Firewalls always cause these problems. I never use them because IMHO you don't need them.

Has anyone figured out this issue yet?

Yes. As Antonio mentioned, he had to make changes to his firewall which was blocking javascript. I'm not sure why the attachments he posted are not coming through.

So the module load exception is caused by a firewall?
