Active Forums requires DotNetNuke 4.9.5 or higher and SQL Server 2005/2008.

Active Modules wants to encourage you to stay up to date with all updates as they are made available.  Please refer to our feature chart to see the discount and upgrade options that are available for your license.

How many licenses for Active Forums do I need?

Active Forums is licensed per DotNetNuke install.  This means that you are able to use Active Forums on other portals as long as they are part of the same DotNetNuke install.  You must purchase a license for each DotNetNuke install.  Quantity discounts are available.  Please contact us for further details.

How will I receive the Active Forums package?

Active Forums is only available for download.  You will be able to download Active Forums immediately following your purchase.
Can I modify the look and feel of Active Forums?

The design and layout of Active Forums is extremely flexible.  Active Forums consists of three main views which can easily be adjusted by modifying the HTML templates.  All other aspects are managed through cascading style sheets (CSS).  Step-by-step instructions are included with the Active Forums Skinning and Templates guide which is include with your purchase.


Does Active Forums support localization?

Active Forums takes full advantage of the localization features included with DotNetNuke.  All text values within Active Forums can be easily translated by using the tools provided with DotNetNuke.
What version of DotNetNuke do I need for Active Forums?

If you want your web site to use the latest and most efficient web technologies, then we recommend DotNetNuke 4.5. 

Active Forums 3.7 and higher is only available for DotNetNuke 4.5.   Active Forums 3.6 will support DotNetNuke 3.1 and higher.  However, we highly suggest Active Forums 3.7 and DotNetNuke 4.5.
